Artist reception Feb. 28, 2008 6-9 p. m.Lecture by Mela M. on Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.Welcome! Mela M. is a professional artist and adjunct art professor who works in her studio in Los Angeles. She also gives private drawing and painting lessons in her studio. Melas’ work has been seen at the Riverside Art Museum, Riverside, Ca., Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento, Ca., Coos Art Museum, Coos Bay, Oregon, Santa Monica Museum of Art, Santa Monica, Ca., Urban Museum of Contemporary Art, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Museum of Contemporary Art Minsk, Belarus, Patricia Faure Gallery, Santa Monica, Ca. and other exhibition spaces.
